After the Movement Against Intolerance (Movimiento Contra la Intolerancia) filed a complaint against me for a “hate crime”—due to the public exhibition of my work Contra-Propaganda, which consisted of a portrait of Paul Joseph Goebbels and a list of his propaganda and media manipulation tactics—I decided to join said association as a volunteer member, and thus join them in “striving to eradicate intolerance from the face of the Earth.” Furthermore, as a gesture of gratitude for their good intentions, I decided to gift the censored artwork to the association, informing its president through a message displayed in the self-managed exhibition G€NOC1DIO, where I also shared some reflections regarding the complaint.
I hope they respond affirmatively, both to my request for membership and to my desire to present them with the artwork.
In 2024, the Movement Against Intolerance received €618,900.51 in grants to fight “hate crimes,” of which €473,893.52 came from the central government.
